Peer Reviwers Proces

The practice of peer review is to ensure that good science is published. It is an objective process at the heart of good scientific publication and is carried out in all the leading scientific journals. Therefore, our referees play an important role in maintaining the high standards of Composite Structures and all manuscripts are peer reviewed following the procedures outlined below.

Evaluation of the initial manuscript
The first editor evaluates all manuscripts. This is rare, but completely worthy of the extraordinary manuscripts received at this stage. Those rejected at this stage are not original enough, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar (English / Bahasa), or fall outside the purpose and scope of the journal. Those who meet the minimum criteria are forwarded to at least 2 experts for review.
Scriptwriters who are rejected at this stage will usually be notified within 2 weeks of being accepted.

Type of Peer Review
This journal uses double blind reviewing, in which the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process.

How the referee is selected
Referees are adjusted to paper according to their expertise. Rhetoric: Journal of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Studies has a policy of using double blind referees (as explained in the previous section).

Report
referee The referee is asked to evaluate whether the manuscript:
- Is original
- Is methodologically sound
- Follow proper ethical guidelines
- Have results that are clearly presented and support the conclusions
- Appropriately refers to previous relevant work

Referees are not expected to correct or copy the script. Language correction is not part of the peer review process.

How long will the review process take?
The time required for the review process depends on the referee's response. If the referee's reports conflict with each other or the reports need not be postponed, further expert opinion will be sought. In the rare cases where it is extremely difficult to find a second referee to review the manuscript, or when a referee's report has fully convinced the Editor, the decision at this stage to accept, reject or ask the author for revision is made on the basis of only one referee report. The referee may request more than one manuscript revision.

Report
The final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with the recommendations made by the referee, and may include word-for-word comments by the referee.

Editor's decision is final.
The referee advises the editor, who is responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article
