RESEPSI AL-QUR’AN PADA TRADISI REBO WEKASAN (Analisis Praktik Dzikir dan Shalat Li Daf’i Al-Bala’ di Kecamatan Megamendung, Kabupaten Bogor)

Abstrak

This study examines how the Quran is received and implemented in the Rebo Wekasan tradition, particularly through the practice of dhikr (remembrance of God) and the li daf'il bala' prayer performed by the local community. This research is motivated by the importance of the Rebo Wekasan tradition in the local culture of the Megamendung community and how this tradition serves as a medium for expressing their religious and spiritual beliefs. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results indicate that dhikr and the li daf'il bala' prayer in the Rebo Wekasan tradition have deep symbolic meaning for the Megamendung community. These practices are seen as an effort to seek protection and blessings from Allah SWT, as well as a form of spiritual endeavor in facing various threats and dangers. Furthermore, this study found dynamic changes and adaptations in the implementation of this tradition, along with the influence of modernization and globalization. It concludes that the reception of the Quran in the Rebo Wekasan tradition in Megamendung District is a manifestation of the integration of religious values and local culture. The practice of dhikr and the prayer of "li daf'il bala'" not only serves as a religious ritual but also as a means to strengthen social bonds and cultural identity. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the relationship between religion and culture in the local context.
