Pengaruh Jember Fashion Carnival Terhadap Citra Kota Jember Sebagai Destinasi Wisata Budaya

This article aims to analyze the impact of the Jember Fashion Carnival (JFC) on the image of Jember City as a cultural tourism destination. JFC is one of the largest fashion festivals in Indonesia that has gained international recognition. By presenting unique themes every year, JFC not only showcases creativity in fashion design but also serves as an event rich in artistic and cultural elements. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document studies. The respondents of the study include tourism industry players, local government officials, artists, and tourists who have attended JFC. The research findings show that JFC has a significant and positive influence in shaping and enhancing the image of Jember City. JFC has successfully transformed the public perception of Jember from a small town into a dynamic and innovative destination. In addition, JFC serves as a main attraction that promotes Jember’s local cultural richness such as batik motifs and traditional dances through modern and spectacular interpretations. However, several challenges remain, including issues of event sustainability, waste management, and the optimization of local community participation beyond the tourism industry. In conclusion, JFC plays a strategic role as an effective cultural asset in building the image of Jember City. The recommendation is to strengthen the synergy among the government, communities, and the private sector to further develop JFC into an event that is not only aesthetically appealing but also delivers sustainable economic and social impacts for all levels of society.

Play and Educational Approaches as Trauma Healing Methods for Children Affected by Flooding in Matang Cut, North Aceh Regency

Children and adolescents are age groups that are vulnerable to mental health problems in disaster-affected areas due to the loss of a sense of security and the destruction of living environments, play areas, and educational facilities. The floods and landslides that occurred in Aceh on November 24, 2025 caused psychological impacts in the form of trauma, particularly among children and adolescents in Matang Cut Village, North Aceh Regency. This condition encouraged the implementation of a community service program aimed at supporting the recovery of the mental well-being of children and adolescents in the post-disaster period. The activities were carried out using a persuasive approach by grouping participants based on their educational levels, namely kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school. Each group was guided by a community service team consisting of lecturers in psychiatric nursing, health promotion, and English. The method applied was learning through play using educational game tools, such as flashcards and puzzles for adolescents, as well as coloring activities for younger children. The results showed very positive responses, indicated by the participants’ enthusiasm, motivation, and cheerfulness from the beginning to the end of the activities. All 34 participants attended the activities in full without leaving before completion. As a form of appreciation, active participants were given door prizes in the form of wafers, bread, and milk. This finding emphasizes that educational and recreational activities are highly necessary as part of efforts to address post-disaster trauma, particularly among children and adolescent age groups

Implementasi Media Pembelajaran Interaktif (MPI) Berbasis Canva Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Di SD Muhammadiyah Sinjai

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan catur darma Perguruan tinggi Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan yang penulis laksanakan pada tanggal 13-14 Mei 2024 di SD Muhammadiyah Sinjai. Sasaran dalam pembelajaran ini ialah anak kelas 4 SD sebanyak 7 orang siswa. Media pembelajaran memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam memahamkan konsep-konsep keagamaan. Salah satu aspek keagamaan yang esensial adalah tatacara berwudhu dalam agama Islam. Di dalam pengabdian ini ada beberapa metode yang digunakan seperti perencanaan yaitu mengkomunikasikan kepada pihak sekolah tentang pengabdian yang akan dilaksanakan, pelaksanaan yaitu suatu proses di mana penulis melaksanakan kegiatannya pembelajaran dan refleksi yaitu melakukan praktek tatacara berwudhu dan menguji kembali pemahaman siswa sampai mana siswa itu paham dengan materi pelajaran yang sudah diberikan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, pemahaman dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam mempelajari tata cara berwudhu. Pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan fitur-fitur interaktif Canva, seperti gambar, teks, dan elemen desain grafis lainnya, guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan mudah dipahami. menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap tata cara berwudhu. Respons positif juga diperoleh dari guru sebagai pengajar dan peserta didik terkait kemudahan penggunaan, kreativitas desain, dan daya tarik visual media pembelajaran ini. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva untuk materi tata cara berwudhu dapat dijadikan alternatif yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran keagamaan di sekolah atau lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, khususnya dalam konteks pemahaman tata cara berwudhu sebagai bagian integral dari kehidupan beragama dan dapat pula meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswadalam pembelajaran.

Hasil survei lapangan oleh mahasiswa UNBARA di Desa Battu Winangun memiliki tanaman pohon kelapa yang melimpah namun dalam pemanfaatan buah kelapa di lingkungan Desa Battu Winangun masih memiliki kekurangan sehingga belum dimanfaatkan secara luas hanya sebatas pemanfaatan sebagai minuman atau bahan masak seperti menjadi santan. Di Desa Battu Winangun sudah memiliki UMKM berupa usaha yang menghasilkan produk dan produk yang dihasilkan adalah keripik singkong yang didistribusikan oleh salah satu warga Di Desa Battu Winangun, maka dari itu kami ingin memberikan inovasi baru dengan memanfaatkan kelapa sebagai bahan utama untuk membuat keripik yang dapat membantu penambahan produktivitas dalam menghasikan sebuah produk yang menjadi ladang usaha UMKM warga dan masyarakat Desa Battu Winangun. Islamic Counseling Assistance in Overcoming Adolescent Identity Crisis in the Digital Era

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the identity formation process of adolescents. Exposure to social media, a culture of social comparison, and the unfiltered flow of information often trigger an identity crisis, which Erik Erikson, in his psychosocial developmental stage, calls identity versus role confusion. This community service program aims to implement an Islamic counseling program as a preventive and curative effort to help adolescents build a healthy identity in the digital age. The method used is a participatory approach through group counseling, individual counseling, and psychoeducation based on the values of monotheism, tazkiyatun nafs (respect for the self), and moral development. The program is implemented through a needs assessment, mentoring sessions, and evaluation of changes in participants' attitudes and understanding. The expected outcomes are increased self-awareness, controlled digital media use, and the formation of a more stable self-identity grounded in Islamic values. With an integrative approach combining psychological and spiritual aspects, Islamic counseling has the potential to become an applicable intervention model in schools and communities.

Guidance for Young Santri (TKTPA Palae Village) Based on Worship Practices and Public Speaking as an Effort to Strengthen Religious Values

The development of young Islamic boarding school students (santri) at the Kindergarten/TPA (Teaching and Religious Education) in Palae Village is an important strategy for strengthening religious values from an early age, integrated with the development of communication skills. This community service activity aims to: (1) improve understanding and skills in basic religious practices, including ablution, prayer, and memorization of short surahs; (2) develop public speaking skills as part of building students' self-confidence; and (3) shape adaptive and communicative religious character in social life. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through observation, program socialization, implementation of practice-based development, and evaluation through student performance assessments. The results of the activity show a significant increase in students' ability to carry out religious practices appropriately according to guidance and increased confidence in delivering religious material to a limited audience. The implications of this activity indicate that the integration of religious practice development and public speaking training is effective in strengthening the internalization of religious values while developing students' communication competencies from an early age.

Increasing Young Generation Awareness of the Dangers of Drugs through Preventive Socialization Activities in the Community

Drug abuse is a serious problem that has a wide impact on the health, social, and moral aspects of society, especially among the younger generation who are vulnerable to environmental influences. Preventive efforts through outreach activities are an important strategy in raising awareness and forming an attitude of rejection towards drug abuse. This community service activity aims to: (1) increase public knowledge regarding the types and dangers of drugs; (2) raise awareness to avoid drug abuse; and (3) encourage the active role of the community as a prevention agent in their surrounding environment. The implementation method of the activity includes an initial observation stage to identify partner needs, interactive outreach and counseling, and evaluation to measure the level of understanding of participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding regarding the dangers of drugs, which was marked by the ability to identify types of narcotics, understand their negative impacts, and show a change in attitude to be more vigilant towards drug distribution. In addition, this activity also encouraged the formation of collective awareness in prevention efforts in the community. Thus, outreach on the dangers of drugs has proven effective as a preventive measure in building community resilience against the threat of drug abuse

Implementation of the Children’s Islamic Festival Program to Enhance Children's Islamic Values: A Community Service Initiative by KKN Students in Aska Village, South Sinjai District

The Pious Children's Festival is an educational and religious activity aimed at instilling Islamic values from an early age through various competitions and positive activities, such as Quran memorization, the call to prayer, lectures, and daily worship practices, which are generally organized by educational institutions, mosques, or community organizations. Through a fun and competitive approach, this activity can increase children's interest in learning and practicing religious teachings in their daily lives. In addition, the Pious Children's Festival also plays a role in shaping children's character by instilling the values of honesty, discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence, while developing social skills such as communication and cooperation through interaction with peers. This activity also strengthens the relationship between family, school, and community, because it involves the active participation of parents and teachers in accompanying and motivating children, so that it is not only a competition, but also a means of developing a young generation with noble morals and based on Islamic values.

Sosialisasi Kewenangan BPJPH dan Pendampingan sertifkasi Halal Bagi Umkm di Desa Batah Timur

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas kewenangan BPJPH dalam pelaksanaan sertifikasi halal di Desa Batah Timur serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi rendahnya tingkat kepatuhan pelaku usaha terhadap kewajiban tersebut. Menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan socio-legal, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan kajian regulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya literasi halal, minimnya sosialisasi, dan terbatasnya pendampingan menjadi kendala utama penerapan sertifikasi halal. Selain itu, pengawasan di tingkat desa belum berjalan optimal sehingga terjadi kesenjangan antara regulasi dan praktik. Penelitian juga menemukan adanya peluang perbaikan melalui program sertifikasi halal gratis, dukungan pendamping Proses Produk Halal (PPH), dan minat pelaku usaha muda terhadap digitalisasi. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kolaborasi antara BPJPH, pemerintah desa, dan lembaga pendidikan dinilai penting untuk memperkuat implementasi sertifikasi halal dan perlindungan konsumen Muslim di desa tersebut.
